Youth ministry has always been a major priority of our church. The youth have a room that provides a place where they can play games, watch television, have refreshments and relate to other youth. The youth are always surrounded by very caring adults. The group of adults who relate to our youth has grown over the past year. We are grateful to these adults for giving of themselves in such a generous manner.

Some of the ministry opportunities that were offered to our youth this year are as follows:
- 100 young people attended the night of worship and fellowship at Night of Joy in Orlando, Florida.
- The middle school youth meet on Friday afternoons for a time of fellowship, worship, recreation and dinner. The senior high youth meet on Sunday evenings for a time of fellowship, worship, recreation and dinner.
- The confirmation youth (seventh grade) meet every Sunday morning to prepare themselves for vows of membership. This ministry will meet until May when the youth are confirmed.
- There will be two retreat opportunities for our middle school youth. The first retreat will be to Big Pine Key for fellowship and worship. The second retreat will be a whitewater rafting trip during spring break.
- A
retreat is being planned for the senior high youth during spring break.
