Christian role models share a summer camp experience and lifelong memories of traditional values in a positive atmosphere. In our first two summers, we have made, painted, carved, built and played handmade boomerangs, balloon-killing battle-kites, a transverse rock-climbing wall, custom rock wall holds, a 20-foot skate halfpipe, wood-and-fiberglass skimboards, Duct Tape anything, a Giant  Zipline, an Extreme Slip-and-Slide and the neighborhood’s nastiest Slime-Goo Pit.

We have taken some fun trips: sailing the schooner Star of the Sea, Big Splash Day at Miracle Stadium, waterskiing, canoeing, fishing and beach days, an intergalactic treasure hunt, disc golf, paintball, water park, open gym and trampoline. And we’ve created our own Ropes Course challenges, glow-in-the-dark games, mini-arena football, extreme ultimate teddy bear and more.

 

Our Christian surfer club, Pray for Surf, is a family ministry celebrating the joy and freedom of riding waves – even the small ones found in Naples. We travel to the East Coast several times a year and pitch in to rent the wave pool at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon. There is fellowship in mission trips to great surf destinations, competitions, fundraisers, movie nights and retreats.
