Would you like to sell your homegrown vegetables or tryout your new business idea? North Naples United Methodist Church is accepting applications for vendors for its entrepreneur- friendly Market featuring local produce,arts, crafts and homemade items.

"The market gives our congregation and local entrepreneurs an opportunity to promote their businesses with very little overhead and helps us service our community," coordinator Lesley Marr says.

Dear 3rd grade parents please select one of the dates this month to help your child earn their leadership project for their Junior Master Gardener certification. A parent must come and join the fun. Come to our NNUMC farmer’s market and report to our outside garden classroom. The 5th and 26th will be teaching days for your child. The 5th will be a selling day of our organic vegetables and herbs and our homemade worm castings. Please arrive fifteen minutes early so we can set up and assign duties that morning.

Nov 6, 2010 Kids Against Hunger Packaging Event & Thanksgiving Food Drive for Local Charities Sometimes helping the poor can seem overwhelming. There’s so much need, and it often seems like one person could hardly make a difference. But we also know that when we work together in collective charity, amazing things can happen.

NNUMC & The Rotary Club of Naples hosts from 9am to 11am in the Community Center a food packaging event. The goal is to raise $16,000 and package 100,000 meals. Great event for all ages. The average cost per person is about $36, but every donation is appreciated.
100% of all money raised goes to pay for the cost of the meals.

This event meets Collier County Public & Private school community service requirements for youth participating.

The Farmers Market on Goodlette will have a collection box at the Entrance to the market for your donations. It is our goal to collect 100 unwrapped toys to help those children in our community this holiday season.
