The Farmers Market on Goodlette in Naples is a mission of the North
Naples United Methodist Church featuring local produce, seafood, baked
goods, prepared foods, plants, fresh flowers, jewelry, photography, t-shirts,
Avon, soaps, handbags, crafts and so much more. The market inspires,
encourages and supports local entrepreneurship. It is a public market,
open Saturdays from October to April from 8:00am to 1:00pm.
The NNUMC Farmers Market is different, it is not a business but a mission. We are family and work together for all of our success. Our purpose is Neighbors supporting Neighbors. It was designed to support church missions and local charities with the participant vendor fees. Some of the local programs we help support are Grace Place,Help Outreach, Immokalee Friendship House, Methodist Children's Home, Schools for Haiti and Upward Youth Sports Programs.
The Market offers a hand up, not a hand out to those wanting or needing to start a new business. We provide marketing and business development guidance as well as a great location.
Because we are different, we all our vendors are involved and have an opportunity to make suggestions for building the market and making it better. Our season starts in October and runs through April excluding major holidays, we are there every Saturday.
